The concept of marking Blue Coat School’s foundation has changed greatly over the years, from a time when the annual celebrations at Liverpool Anglican Cathedral or St George’s Hall were an unquestioning positive version about the life of our Founder Bryan Blundell. However, in recent times the School is revising its approach to reflect a deeper knowledge about the broader activities of Bryan Blundell and Blue Coat’s benefactors and how they acquired their fortunes.
