Christopher Ide, born 1950: Chris enjoyed being in many Blue Coat shows, especially Britten’s Noye’s Fludde and Bach’s Christmas Oratorio. Thanks to Music masters Mr Price and Mr Pinder, he experienced a wide range of music. Teaching at Blue Coat “got me where I wanted to be”. No strong memories of bullying. Head Mr Watcyn wrote him a glowing testimonial for medical school at Dundee University and he worked in Germany and the Middle East. He is now a semi-retired Occupational Medicine consultant, near Glasgow. Chris is very proud of Blue Coat School.
